In case you have overlooked this short announcement from the Twitter blog, the next time you check your following and follower page on your Twitter account don’t be surprised to see some minor changes in the way those pages appear, along with some new features.
Alright to be honest I think I’ve checked these pages just once or twice as most of the time when I receive new followers update through email, I simply click on the followers’ profiles and decide whether to follow them or not.
But what I really like about the redesign of the pages is the additional features that came with it. When you visit any of the two pages, you can now do several things while scanning the list. Here are the things you can do at those pages:
- Expand or Collapse the list view
- Add or invite more followers
- Unfollow Twitter members
- Mention Twitter members
- Send direct messages
- Block Twitter members
In addition to these features, another great thing is the fact that you can now view the accounts of people that you’re Twitter contact is following even if you are not following them.
Such simple features are certainly much needed to make Tweetering a more pleasant and hassle-free experience. No wonder, Twitter’s popularity is continously growing.
