Knock-offs from China are nothing to be surprised about, yes? You probably have already heard people saying that in China, you can find knock-off of practically every item that has been manufactured. That may or may not be accurate, but if you are in the market for an alternative to the much raved about Apple iPad (throw in the Samsung tablets in there as well), here’s something you might want to look at.
Say hello to the HaiPad.
I have not spent that much time actually using a Samsung Galaxy tablet, but the HaiPad does look like one doesn’t it? I wonder what Samsung has to say about that, especially since they have been at the receiving end of complaints from Apple.
The HaiPad is a 7-inch tablet running on Android, so it’s perfect for Apple haters who do not want to spend too much money on a tablet. This tablet runs Ice Cream Sandwich, if you’re particular about the OS. (Who isn’t?)
The body is made of glossy plastic and is only 9.9 mm thick. That should be a big plus if you’re always on the go, yes?
Here are other details that you might find interesting:
- Cortex A13 1.2ghz CPU
- Mali 400 GPU
- 7 inch IPS screen 1034x 600
- HDMI out
- 1GB RAM
- Android 4.0.3 OS
- Front facing camera
So how about it? Fancy getting a HaiPad?
