I remember covering Hunch (in my other blogging gig) when it was announced a couple of months ago. It was a pretty promising web tool that aims to help you make decisions when confronted by a situation wherein you have to make a decision. This event doesn’t have to be important decisions. It can range from the most trivial to the most complicated decision-making incident happens to you at some point in your life. It was still in beta mode back then, and now finally Hunch has gone public. If you’ve missed the news about Hunch during its launch, well it works a little something like this. You ask a question, and Hunch will give you answers based on the collective knowledge Hunch users which are processed by the Hunch question selection algorithm.
The interesting thing about Hunch is the fact that the answers it gives you becomes better as more people use it.
Along with the Hunch’s public launch are some new features that include:
- Widgets that you can embed to your blog
- explore page which contains snippets of information which are updated regularly
- an API which will be available later today
If you haven’t tried using Hunch, now is the right time to do so. Who knows? You might find the answer a question which has remained unanswered for you.
