Just a few days after I’ve updated my Firefox installation, here comes a new announcement on the release of Firefox 3.5 Beta 4. If you’ve been closely following Mozilla’s development of Firefox, you’d know that it won’t be long until the official Firefox 3.5 browser will be available. Still, if you couldn’t wait for the full version release, you might want to download the beta 4 version right now.And here are what to expect from Firefox Beta 4 release:
- Available now in 70 languages
- Improved privacy setting including Private Browsing Mode
- TraceMonkey JavaScript engine deployment for better performance and stability
- Location Aware Browsing
- Native JSON support
- Improved Gecko layout engine
- HTML5, downloadable fonts, new CSS properties, Javascript query selector, and SVG transformation support
Like any other beta release, Firefox 3.5 Beta is being made available for public previewing of the next Firefox version. So be cautious when using it since you might still encounter some minor bugs and problems.
