When Google announced recently that Google Chrome is now available for the Mac, Google Chrome Extensions in Chrome Beta was also made available. In case you’re not using Google Chrome, Extensions are just your Plugins and Add-Ons for Firefox.

1. Google Mail Checker
Shows the number of unread messages in your Google Mail inbox. It also lets you open your Gmail inbox just by clicking on the icon located on the Chrome toolbar. In addition, this Extensions also somehow notifies you if there are new messages in your inbox when the icon swells. (Install link)
I know not everyone has a Google Wave account yet. But in case you do and most probably you’ll have pretty soon, Google Wave notifier would be a useful Google Chrome Extension as it displays the number of unread Waves you have. (note: anyone who wants a Wave invite, just contact me)
3. Chromed Bird
This extension lets you follow your Twitter timelines, post tweets and RTs, track and read tweets and more. If you’re a heavy Twitter users, this extension should be on your Google Chrome toolbar.
This is an unofficial Facebook Extension but just the same it lets you read your Facebook news feed and wall as well as post updates.
This Chrome extension is useful if you regularly share web pages via email. It lets you share links to web pages using your default email client or Gmail. Just by clicking on the email icon, the extension automatically reads the web page address from the current tab and anchors it to the text you have selected from the web page, then sends those to your email account.
