The phase at which Google is developing its Chrome web browser may be slow but the time it loads web pages is getting faster. And so Google Chrome has just became faster with its latest version. Along with the increase in loading speed are some minor new features with the full screen mode as the most notable of them.Just how fast this new Google Chrome has become? It’s 30% faster than the previous version, says a post from the Official Google Blog. So if you’ve been using Google Chrome since the first day it was released, you’d noticed the difference in loading speed as 30% seems to be a pretty big difference.
Aside from this, some of the new features of Google Chrome includes:
- the ability to remove thumbnails from the New Tab Page
- toggle full screen mode to hide the title bar and the rest of the browser Window using F11
- form autofill
Of course what is a new browser release if stability is not improved. The new Google Chrome is now more stable than previous releases with around 300 bugs already fixed.
The new features may not be huge addition to Google Chrome’s functionality but these new features are certainly a step towards the gradual evolution of Google Chrome into a full-featured browser worthy of competing with its two major competitors, IE and Firefox.
