Have you checked out your Facebook Inbox recently? Did you notice any changes? Or you don’t bother to check it at all? Well, if your Facebook Inbox currently looks the same as the image you see on the right, that means it is still the old version. The new Facebook Inbox is being rolled out gradually to users. Mine is still the old version. But the Facebook Blog has put up a screenshot of the new Inbox. From the way I see it, the new Inbox definitely looks better and sleeker than the old version.
The new Facebook Inbox highlights the filtering options for unread messages and spam or or unwanted messages that you receive. The previous Messages, and Updates tab were relocated to the sidebar.
For those not checking their Facebook Inbox, Updates features messages sent to you by the fan pages you subscribe to. Updates settings can be edited as well.
One of the most useful feature of the Facebook Inbox – the search box is still there but was also relocated to the sidebar.
Overall, these new features are good and gives you more ways to manage the messages you receive both from your Facebook friends as well as Facebook Pages you are subscribed to.
