Just a quick heads up to inform you all, in case you’ve missed the announcement that Facebook is now allowing users to change Facebook profile username. So, if you’re one of those who created vanity URLs and you are not satisfied with what you’ve got, here’s your chance to come up with the coolest Facebook username that you could ever think of.
After this one-time-only changing of username, Facebook says it will not allow any member to change it again. Well, at least until the next time that the Facebook tech people decide to overrule such policy again. If you would remember, when the creation of Vanity URLs were rolled out five weeks ago, Facebook also said that members will not be allowed to change their usernames again.
To change your Facebook username, go to your account settings page and look out for a new option that will allow you to do this one-time change. Make sure that you already thought of that uber cool username before changing your username settings.
