Results of the recent report on the “Global Workforce Index” by staffing firm Kelly Services showed that majority of the workers in Canada and the U.S., around 78% believed that computers, laptop and mobile phones have them more productive.
The report also showed that only 2% of the workers feel that computer technology made them worse workers. Interestingly, those who said that computers and other related technology have made them more productive are actually 75% baby boomers, 79% Generation X and 78% for Generation Y.
Drilling down to some more details the study also showed that 87% believed that office telecommunity will bring in more positive things even in the long run.
Other interesting findings revelead by the report include 87% of workers think that office telecommuting policy is a very attractive work mode.
The study also reported that there were 30% of workers in North America, 33% in Europe and 41% in the Asia-Pacific region who have said that they were encourage to work for longer hours because mobile communications.
