Twitter to Implement Verified Account for Celebrity Profiles
Recently, Twitter had to face a lawsuit filed by St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa relating a bogus profile created on Twitter impersonating the La Russa. When the issue was brought to Twitter’s attention, the Twitter team immediately took action and cancelled the account. And as far as the Twitter management is concern, they have done their part and ensured that the said violation of Twitter’s TOS was immediately uphold.
