Most people, like myself, have a love-hate relationship with the interwebs. Sometimes it can be super helpful and other times it annoys the everliving shit out of me. I have no idea how some internet trends or memes even get started. Don’t get me wrong, I love Keyboard Cat, Struttin’ Dat Ass, Star Wars Kid and sooo many more. I’m talking about the fads that are beyond idiotic that make you feel like saying “I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.” Here we see the Dumbest Internet Trends That Should Have Never Existed, each more moronic than the last.

Fruit Ninja the Movie Trailer

Fruit Ninja is one of those games that gets people hooked for one reason or another. Even those who do not normally like playing video games can easily find themselves getting all excited about playing Fruit Ninja on their iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad. Of course, we cannot discount the Android users who also have Fruit Ninja on their devices.

The game was first released in April of 2010 for the iPod Touch, but it has quickly spread since then. There is no doubt that it is now one of the most popular casual games there are. I have to say, though, that Fruit Ninja is definitely not on the same level as Angry Birds. I think that that game is just difficult to surpass. Still, just because Fruit Ninja is not that popular doesn’t mean it can’t have its own movie, right? A lot of people were initially disappointed when Apple unveiled the iPhone 4S instead of the iPhone 5 last October 4. Personally, I think all that disappointment could have been avoided if people reigned in the rumor talks prior to the launch. There were literally dozens of new rumors being spread all over the web each day as October 4 drew closer–and while Apple could’ve issued a little press release to cut down the chatter just a little bit, they didn’t, in true Apple fashion. (But if you think about it, more rumors probably would’ve surfaced had they said something, so maybe it was a no-win situation then.)

Do you like poetry? Maybe not? I have a confession to make. Poetry calms me down. When I feel stressed or something is bothering me, reading poetry usually does the trick.

Now you may not feel the same way, but I am sure that you will appreciate the effort and creativity that went into these one-of-a-kind computer error messages. They are not your usual curt and brief error messages that go straight to the point. Don’t get me wrong – there is nothing wrong with these messages, they get the job done. Every year, we see people get all worked up for all sorts of conventions. Comic enthusiasts have their comic cons. Video game enthusiasts have their own. Geeks, nerds, and what-have-yous all have their own conventions as well. As can be expected, stereotypes about the attendees of these conventions have arisen.
