Halloween seems to be the talk of the town, and rightly so. From costumes to food to drinks – everything about this holiday seems to incite a different kind of excitement. Yesterday, I shared this web site that has a good selection of pirate costumes that can make you the star of any Halloween party that you go to. If pirates are not your thing and you prefer a time machine that looks like a phone box, then you probably will go for the TARDIS. (I totally understand your sentiment, by the way.) Alternatively, you might want to go with the Daleks.

I dislike doing household chores. Who doesn’t, really? I do love to cook and do it practically everyday without any issues but when it comes to doing the dishes, I balk. And when it comes to doing laundry. Man, let’s not even talk about that!

With the invention of Lee Wei Chen, an MA student from Kingston University, though, laundry time just might take on a whole new hue. The invention is a washing machine that incorporates the most fun thing in the world for many people – arcade games. It doesn’t take a marketing and branding expert to realize the importance of logos. After all, the average consumer knows just how a good logo can make you associate it with a particular brand. Case in point: anyone who sees that ubiquitous apple (the fruit) with a chunk bitten off knows just what company it stands for.

It’s not everyday that you get to hear about a robot that is all-seeing, do you? This is one of those things that we can describe as the stuff that science fiction is all about. Except that this is NOT science fiction. It is real life, and it is happening now.

Schäuble Junior is a robot that has 9 eyes. Well, he may not be a robot in the sense of being a sentient being, or even a semi-sentient being, but Schäuble Junior is nothing but impressive.
